The K-JC 604 is built for contractors looking to efficiently recycle construction and demolition waste while avoiding rising disposal and hauling costs. Featuring a 23″ x 16″ jaw crusher paired with an integrated vibrating feeder, the K-JC 604 delivers a smooth, consistent material flow into the crushing chamber for reliable performance.
Material is processed through a fast, linear feed motion, improving throughput and reducing blockages. The closed-side setting (CSS) is hydraulically adjustable via remote control, allowing operators to quickly fine-tune output size without stopping production. Compact, mobile, and easy to operate, the K-JC 604 is ideal for on-site recycling applications where productivity, simplicity, and material control are essential.

The K-JC 604 Mobile Jaw Crusher is rated at up to 55 US tons per hour. Powered by a 55 hp Tier 4 Final diesel engine with a 23” × 16” jaw inlet, it occupies the mid-range of the Komplet jaw crusher lineup — significantly more capable than the K-JC 503 while remaining compact enough for tight urban jobsites, small contractor yards, and operations without large material handling equipment. At 19,400 pounds, it transports on a standard lowboy and is ready to crush quickly on arrival.
As with all jaw crushers, peak capacity is achieved under favorable conditions: dry, consistently-sized material fed at a steady rate without overloading the jaw. The K-JC 604 performs well on concrete rubble, asphalt millings, and natural stone when the upstream feed keeps pace with the crusher. Actual throughput varies depending on material hardness, moisture content, feed size consistency, and cycle time of the loading equipment. Evaluating the machine on your specific material during a demonstration is the most reliable way to set realistic production expectations before committing to a workflow.
Heavily reinforced concrete, wet cohesive material, or irregular oversize pieces will each reduce effective throughput and increase wear. If your material includes a high proportion of rebar or embedded steel, the onboard magnetic separator is doing critical work, and factoring in brief pauses for magnet clean-off is part of an efficient operating rhythm.
Output size is adjustable from approximately ¾” to 3¼” by changing the closed-side setting via wireless remote. This range covers most common recycled aggregate applications: road base, sub-base fill, drainage aggregate, and general backfill. Operators looking to produce a finer end product may choose to pair the K-JC 604 with a downstream Kompatto screener to separate the crushed product into clean, sized fractions.
The K-JC 604 accepts feed material sized to fit within its 23” × 16” jaw inlet. As with all jaw crushers, feeding consistently within 80–85% of the full inlet dimension keeps the jaw cycling cleanly and prevents bridging. Oversize pieces should be pre-broken before entering the hopper to protect the jaw plates and maintain throughput.
On material type, the K-JC 604 is well matched to mid-volume C&D recycling, contractor yard processing, and on-site material reduction. Common feed materials include concrete (plain and lightly reinforced), asphalt, brick, block, mixed masonry rubble, and natural stone. Its track-mounted design allows it to move around a jobsite independently, repositioning to follow demolition operations without requiring a crane or wheel loader to move the crusher itself.
